A video of Vlorë businessman Vasil Bedinaj, who punches a citizen after a debate about beach spaces in Vlorë, has gone viral on the network.
The businessman's group argues with the citizen about the occupied areas of the private beach, divided with or without permission for private use.
At one point, Bedinaj approaches, who physically attacks the person, after the blow he apparently sits down to catch a stone.
Vasil Bedinaj is the owner of the chain of hotels and restaurants "Regina". In December 2023, Bedinaj was investigated in a free state by the police, after he was found to be building without a permit in the Radhima area.
In a building with 5 floors with a permit, Bedinaj was building the sixth floor without a permit. In 2016, Vasil Bedinaj was the target of a failed assassination attempt with C-4 explosives in the "Dry Lake" area in Tirana.
In 2019, through the "Hotel Regina-Group" company, Bedinaj addressed the Municipality of Vlora, the Prefecture of Vlora, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Defense, the General Maritime Directorate, the Coastal Agency, and the Agency of Protected Areas, to set up a beach station in Sazan Island.
