Today, Suela Braverman was dismissed from the post of British Home Secretary, by order of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
Her dismissal came about because of her stances on the pro-Palestinian protests and the war in Gaza as a whole.
Lawyer Naim Hasani said that Braverman's dismissal is good news for Albanians since the secretary was against Albanian immigrants.
He also stated that he should leave the post he held after he had gone too far with the statements he made. He further emphasized that the departure of Suela Braverman is a victory for the law, for the name and reputation of Britain in the world.
"It is a very important moment not only for the British government but primarily for the Albanian community in Britain. Britain should be the country that all other countries follow. A controversial Home Secretary like Braverman who has been openly against Albanians has been against multi-ethnic coexistence in Britain. She should leave after filling her cup with her statements. Her departure is a victory for the law, for Britain's name and reputation in the world. Rishi Sunak should see to it that such figures do not come into the British government again. British citizens are somehow celebrating her departure", said the lawyer for "Euronews Albania".
