The Independent Qualification Commission has also dismissed the prosecutor of the Prosecution at the Vlorë Judicial District Court, Saimir Smaka.
During the hearing in the KPK, the prosecutor was asked and gave explanations regarding a report filed against him in SPAK for "passive corruption", the attitude in the investigation of some cases and the delays in criminal proceedings without providing arguments.
Saimir Smaka completed his studies at the Magistrate's School in 2014. For 7 years, he worked at the Vlora District Prosecutor's Office.
In the declaration for the first time in 2013, prosecutor Saimir Smaka did not own any property, while at the end of 2018, his family property is worth 1.6 million ALL.
He owns bank liquidity of 1.3 million alleks and a declared vehicle worth 270 thousand alleks.
The family income for the reporting period is 7.9 million ALL, of which 78% comes from Mr. Smaka's salary, 16% from the income of family members and over 5% from the sale of movable property.
Saimir Smaka in 2015 results with insufficient financial resources to cover the addition of assets in the amount of ALL 380,085, without calculating in this analysis the consumption expenses for the year.
From the qualitative analysis of asset declarations, the incomplete declaration for the purchase of a vehicle was identified as a "red flag".
In 2015, Smaka declares a bank loan contract worth ALL 312,000 for the purchase of a vehicle, but does not declare the vehicle in the assets column, and it is not clear what the full value of the purchase is.
