The SPAK annual report for 2025 did not stop only at statistics on investigations, arrests or criminal proceedings. In part of it, the Special Prosecution Office has also chosen to list the clicks and views that the prosecutors' interviews received on television, portals and social networks.
The document mentions in detail several interviews with SPAK prosecutors, including not only their topic, but also the audience they received on YouTube, Facebook or in various media.
For example, an interview with special prosecutor Vladimir Mara, broadcast on Top Channel, reportedly received around 176 thousand views on YouTube, while another interview with prosecutor Doloreza Musabelliu for the documentary published by BIRN was viewed by over 45 thousand people on social media.
The report also mentions a documentary on cocaine trafficking from Latin America to Albania, where SPAK emphasizes that the published materials and clips have reached up to 250 thousand views on YouTube and social networks.
In some cases, the report even specifies the number of reads of articles on portals or clicks on foreign language versions of publications. Instead of prosecutors dealing with investigations and securing evidence, they are concerned with how many likes they get on social media.
