"The direction of the board of the Namazgja Mosque is owned by the Albanians", said the imam of Tirana and at the same time the head of this cult object, Gazment Teqja.
In a direct link to the show "Opinion" on TV Klan, imam Teqja said that the majority of the board will be Albanians, while a part will be from Turkey to support them with their experience.
Blendi Fevziu : Why was this design chosen and not the modern one that was before?
Imami Gazment Teqja : This is a completely different story from that of the mosque that would be built behind the Palace of Culture. It was the prime minister's wish to build a modern mosque, but it was not realized. Now, when the request was made, as far as I know, the request was made by the Albanian state, the Albanian side for the needs of the Muslim Community told Turkey and Turkey that we were unable to do so with these values that the mosque captures. While Turkey, as an investor, there is nothing wrong with supporting us in their experience and being satisfied with the work they have done themselves. There is no problem, but we have the decision-making and direction. The direction is Albanian, definitely in cooperation with them, but the direction is Albanian. We are the majority. So that there are no hints and misunderstandings. We have not felt well since 2 days ago, unintentionally or out of malice, I don't know, started such a great work that finally managed to be made available to you Muslim believers, but not only that, they wanted to lose its luster by saying no "Turk, not like this and not like that". Conversations that are unrelated and baseless.
