How the Kid from Vlora escaped life imprisonment in England for taking the stove

The English prosecution has withdrawn from the accusations against an Albanian and his associates arrested on the charge of taking a hostage in London.

Nekid Arapi, known in England as Kid Vlonjati, has been sentenced to only 16 months in prison for possession and attempted sale of class B drugs.

He was charged with hostage-taking, false imprisonment and threats to kill, for which, if found guilty, he could be sentenced by Harrow Crown Court to life in prison.

An official of this court told Top Channel that the charges against the other arrested persons, John Guveli, 28 years old, arrested on charges of kidnapping, false imprisonment, were dismissed.

Fation Arapi, 27, of New Road, Peterborough, arrested on charges of kidnapping, false imprisonment.

Armando Brahashaj, 26, resident of Aylestone Avenue, Brent, London, arrested on charges of kidnapping, false imprisonment.

Eduart Cepele aged 30, of Barrington Street, Manchester, charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment.

Emanulea Arapi, 28, of Barrington Street, Manchester, was arrested on a charge of false imprisonment. They immediately won their freedom from the courtroom.

Last year, Top Channel reported that a 30-year-old man was held hostage for 12 days and shortly before the deadline to pay £400,000 was up, those who had taken him hostage were arrested.

For his release, the Directorate for Foreign Relations in the State Police was involved, cooperating with the British NCA-FBI and the Metropolitan Police.

After the release, the 30-year-old hostage remained in the hospital, under police guard.

He suffered multiple injuries after being violently assaulted while being held hostage in east London. His nails were also removed with pliers.

The person taken hostage in the Albanian community in England was known as a problematic person and not correct in drug deals produced in drug houses.

The comments on social networks describe him as a person who had made "goals" to the Albanians involved in the bar houses.

His dark past has been revealed by the investigation after he was released as a hostage.

If he were to testify in court, the defense lawyers of Arap and others would discredit him, and he would be declared an unreliable witness even though he was a victim of hostage-taking.

Apparently, to avoid this, the English prosecution has withdrawn from the charges. Another reason could be the reluctance of the witness who was taken hostage. His family in Fier was required to pay "damages" of 400,000 pounds sterling.

The hostage takers, using the hostage's video call phone, called Pato's brother, telling him how they were torturing him in the premises where they kept him tied up.

The involvement of Albanians in the cannabis business in Great Britain over the years has produced other even more serious crimes such as hostage-taking, robbery and murder of some Albanians inside the premises where cannabis is planted and grown./ TCH
