The United States Chargé d'Affaires in Albania, Nancy VanHorn, visited Tirana International Airport, where new investments in security are currently being implemented.

As part of these investments, "Kastrati Group", under the leadership of Shefqet Kastrati, is installing modern control equipment manufactured in the United States.

According to the US Embassy in Tirana, these technologies aim to improve airport security standards and strengthen border control.

"Charge-de-Charge Nancy VanHorn visited Tirana International Airport, where the Kastrati Group, led by Shefqet Kastrati, is deploying screening equipment manufactured in the United States. Collaboration with trusted American technology providers helps Albanian companies improve safety and strengthen border security," the embassy said in a statement.
