The Lajda Porja weather forecast from MeteoAlb has predicted the weather conditions throughout today and the following day. Porja says that this Wednesday will be characterized by rain showers until the late hours of the night. While tomorrow, a day without rain awaits us, but colder.
"The news is not very good, it is predicted that until 5 in the afternoon, the northern and central areas will have moderate and occasionally high rainfall intensity. More than 80 mm will fall, which is a high amount considering the short term. Then in the southern areas from 7 o'clock in the evening there will be problems in the region of Vlora or Gjirokastra. It is predicted that we will have an interruption of rain after 10 o'clock at night where there will be a gradual weakening. Then from 24:00 to 03:00 we will have rain showers and storms, but the wind will be temporary. Tomorrow there will be a significant improvement in the weather, while on Friday there will be another storm that will hit the coast of Albania. On Friday and Saturday, there will be rain in the entire Balkans," Porja told Klan News.
"At least until November 20, tropical storms will be produced in the Pacific which will hit Southern Italy and consequently Albania. On Sunday, there will be a significant improvement, while on Monday it will rain again", the forecaster said.
Areas that need more attention?
- Shkodra and Lezha in the north-west
– Kruja, Laçi, Tirana and Elbasan (Areas of Central Albania)
According to Porja, floods in these areas are inevitable.
- Is navigation in coastal areas endangered?
It is expected that today will be mainly problematic, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., after which there will be calm. Today the wind parameter will not be too problematic, but there will be showers.
- Will the temperatures drop?
Tomorrow the temperatures will be low, the morning without rain, but cold. On Friday, there will be an increase in temperatures, collisions of air masses will bring rain on the weekend. The problem of these days will be more rainfall than temperatures. Tomorrow there will be no rain and there will be a possibility that the waters will recede.
