After Khamenei's death, Tehran publishes list of enemies
A new escalation in the clash between Iran and the West. An Iranian media outlet has published a so-called "blacklist" of senior international political figures it holds responsible for the death of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
The material published by the Iranian newspaper "Hamshahri", owned by the Tehran Municipality, shows images and names of some of the most important leaders of the West. The list includes US President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, resigned British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
The poster is published in images created with artificial intelligence, with threatening symbolic elements, while some of them appear in orange uniforms as prisoners or with signs of attack on them.
In addition to political leaders, the list also includes senior American and Israeli officials, including US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, CENTCOM commander Brad Cooper and US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee.
On the Israeli side, Defense Minister Israel Katz, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, and the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, are mentioned.
The publication comes after the death of Ali Khamenei and amid strong statements from the Iranian leadership about revenge against those Tehran accuses of being responsible. Khamenei's son, Mojtaba Khamenei, has called for "revenge for the shed blood" of his father.
In a tense climate, the publication of these images has caused political reactions in the affected countries. Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani expressed solidarity with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, stating that she will not be intimidated by threats.
The list published by Iranian media is seen as part of the fierce political and propaganda war between Tehran and countries that Iran considers enemies following recent geopolitical clashes. /Pamphlet
