The editor-in-chief of the Albanian newspaper Erl Murati spoke about the arrests for the sterilization concession.
He said that these events have damaged the image of the government, or even the prime minister. Murati praised the work of justice, stating that the latest reactions are to be welcomed. According to him, the sterilization concession is harmful to the pockets of Albanian citizens and that it has been accused for 7 years by the political opposition as well as by people who have known in this field.
"If we refer to the incinerator file, the wiretapping between criminal groups and police leaders and the latter's sterilization concessions, we can say that justice has worked. This is to be welcomed, as it seems that there is some kind of motivation and I believe a public consensus about the work that justice is doing, of course there is still a lot to do. Rama, being the head of a government where elements turned out to be corrupt, at least bears responsibility. So there is not much to be proud of when you are the prime minister of a government where the former deputy prime minister is wanted by Interpol. For 7 years, the opposition has attacked this concession as a corrupt affair" , said Erl Murati for "News 24".
