In the Court of Appeal, the hearing is taking place for the former mayor of Kukës, Safet Gjici and Alma Kaçin.

Gjici was sentenced by the First Degree for abuse of office with 2 years in prison, while Kaçi, who appears in an intimate video with Gjici, was found guilty of prostitution and was sentenced to 1 year of imprisonment.

In Thursday's session, the prosecution requested a sentence of 2 years and 8 months of imprisonment for Gjici, as it accuses him of corruption of high officials.

As for Kaçi, the sentence of 1 year in prison, but with the charge of active corruption.
