Police Chief Skënder Hita continues the changes in the police ranks. Hita has appointed career officer, Commissioner Klodjan Çeka, to the position of Chief of the Police Commissariat in Malësia e Madhe.
According to police sources, Çeka is considered one of the most promising officers in the State Police. During his career, he has held a number of leadership positions, where he has been appreciated for his results and performance in the exercise of his functions.
His appointment as head of the Malësia e Madhe Police Station comes at a time when the fight against the cultivation of narcotic plants remains one of the main priorities of the police in this area. Sources close to the law enforcement structures indicate that Çeka has been entrusted with one of the most important tasks, with the objective of implementing a zero tolerance policy towards the cultivation of cannabis. This follows the recent discovery of several plots of narcotic plants in the territory of Malësia e Madhe.
Meanwhile, within the framework of the movements in the management structures of the State Police, it is learned that Erjon Dume is expected to be appointed head of the Shkodra Police Commissariat.
Hita has also appointed director Boke Bodini as the new director of the Border in Tirana.
The changes at the management levels come within the framework of the reorganization of police structures and strengthening results in the fight against crime and illegal activities.
