Journalist Artan Hoxha, speaking about former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj, said that it was lucky that he escaped and that he is testifying about government corruption. According to him, if he were in a cell, he would only be able to choose which soup to eat.
Hoxha also ironically added that if Ahmetaj had not escaped, he would have been on the terrace of the Durrës prison during the floods.
"I'm taking the case of Arben Ahmetaj. He was asked to become a man, to become a man, to become righteous, to face justice. We would have a prisoner who we would see on the terrace of the Durrës prison when that flood happened. Luckily, I also accidentally caught the photo in Kakavija. If we didn't have him outside the prison and where he is, we would miss a series of denunciations that are being made. They are also made in the media, the opposition makes them, but they have a different voice when he testifies.
Ahmetaj's ability was precisely this, that he left. Every time Ahmetaj speaks, what he denounces turns into an investigative file. When he said that the bottle of wine worth 33 thousand euros was being drunk, it seemed like a garnish there. But we saw that the wine was evaporating so that those labels were not found. Before Ahmetaj left, since he had the opportunity to speak about the issue in the media, I constantly called on him that 'if you intend to surrender, you have the right to choose only soup'. No one spoke there, at most something happened to him, " said Hoxha.
Pse nuk iku perpara te denonconte por kur i erdhi diarrea qe bente deri ne gryke. Ti koke tul qe llap poshte e perpjete pasi mbaron pilafi e merr rrogen nuk je burre me i mire.
