Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu has ironized Sali Berisha, saying that when the leader of the Democrat Party is afraid of the internal competition with Ervin Salianji and Mereme Sela, there is no way he can defeat Prime Minister Edi Rama in the elections.
Spahiu made the comments in a link to the show 'Frontline', where he said that by not holding real elections within the DP, Berisha is doing nothing but legitimizing Prime Minister Edi Rama, in the event of manipulation of the upcoming elections.
"By not holding elections themselves, the DP does nothing but legitimize Rama to manipulate the biggest race. Berisha can absolutely have this last test. Now when you come out 24 hours ago and say Meremja meets the criteria, says the Secretary General. 24 hours later when the president comes from Slovenia, you say Meremja does not meet the criteria, because it becomes a ridiculous race. If you are afraid of a faction that is boiling in the party, when you know very well that tomorrow you will lose the local elections, they think that the next day there will not be a 7% against, because there will be no problems", said Spahiu, among other things.
