After changing the measure from prison arrest to house arrest, the prosecution requests the return of Vangjush Dako to prison.
This request was reviewed today in the Court of Special Appeal, writes TCH.
The prosecutor of the case stated that if no prison sentence is imposed for Vangjush Dako, then the house arrest should be left in force.
But on the other hand, Dako's lawyers insist that the deadlines for house arrest have also expired.
The former mayor of Durrës, Vangjush Dako, accused of abuse of office, was released from the cell on February 27, after about 9 months, by the decision of the Special Court. For Dako, the judge of GJKKO, Flojera Davidhi, has ordered house arrest with 24-hour police supervision, after the detention terms have passed.
The former mayor was not himself present in the courtroom at GJKKO, when the decision was taken which ordered the immediate release of the former mayor of Durrës after the terms of detention during the preliminary investigations have ended.
After the execution order was prepared by the prosecutor, the former mayor was released from the cell.
