"SPAK with a double standard", Sejamini: Investigating Berisha for

Analyst Neritan Sejamini stated that SPAK is acting with double standards in its investigations into the privatization of the former "Partizani" complex and the accusations against Berisha and his son-in-law.

In an interview for the "Te Paespozuarit" show, Sejamini said that SPAK has not investigated any government decision for incinerators in recent years, for which the way was opened with 17 decisions of the "Rama" government in one day.

"This type of case is an important test for the new justice system and SPAK. One of the things we need to discuss here is that regardless of who is guilty or not, this is an event that has consequences for the DP in the opposition and for Albania. SPAK is in a big test because everyone knows that when investigating a former prime minister and ex-president it is sensitive. The minimum that SPAK should do is to be transparent and not make public appearances and, above all, to be procedurally correct, because any mistake in this aspect will bring fire to one party or the other.

The spectacular arrest in Rinas was unnecessary. SPAK must show the same standard. We have spoken in this studio hundreds of times about the incinerators and we have said: why is it fragmented, why is it investigating only the little ones, when here there has been a change in national policies, a change in the law and there have been government decisions and we have said that a can SPAK explain to us how these laws were changed and SPAK has not done so. So we have the same SPAK with two cases that it investigated at the same time and the same government decisions are investigated and the laws of the parliament are judged and in the other case it doesn't even investigate at all. Do we have a double standard here? The Special Prosecutor's Office has a double standard today because it is judging a former prime minister for government decisions and parliament laws and another in the case of incinerators that does not investigate how 17 decisions were made in one day," said Sejamini .
