Analyst Fatos Lubonja said that SPAK is hitting people and not the system. Commenting on the arrest of former President Ilir Meta, Lubonja said that the important issue is whether SPAK is controlled or not by Prime Minister Edi Rama.
The analyst also said that the blow that was made is related to the elimination of the opposition, its weakening not only for the 2025 elections, but also in 2029.
"It is an instrument of the majority gang. Look at the file, there is talk about the corruption of Ilir Meta, but the other people included in the file are not investigated" , said Lubonja for "News 24".
While the analyst Fitim Zekthi, sharing another position regarding SPAK, said that he is making the strongest moves to attack corruption. Zekthi added that he does not believe that Edi Rama controls SPAK.
"SPAK cannot be a gang controlled by Rama, as long as we have the USA and the EU supporting it. "I don't know that the USA supports a gang in a NATO member country," said Zekthi.
He said that if you look, the US and the American and European institutions support SPAK.
