Storm 'Ciaran' has caused great material damage and has blocked some of the road axes in the country. One of the blocked road axes is that of Përmet-Çarshovo.
As a result of the intense rainfall, the movement of vehicles has become difficult due to the landslide on the axis of about 50 m.
The movement became possible only after quick intervention and cleaning with heavy equipment.
This segment was the only one that had problems after today's rains. The institution of the Prefect of Gjirokastra has announced that a working group has been set up to manage the situation that is expected to be problematic in the future.
