Analyst Ergys Mërtiri, commenting on the rift within the 'Shqipëria Bëhet' coalition between Lapaj and Shabani, said that the debates within this party are due to limited mandates.
According to him, there is no correlation between the lack of ideals and political division. Further in his analysis, Mërtiri said that small parties should unite within a political axis.
"The fact that they are fighting for a mandate is banal. It does not mean that they do not have principles or do not love this country. We cannot deny this, only that they show immaturity in this regard. We cannot put a visa on them. I can also call it selfishness that these people did not come together before the elections. If they had come together, they would have made a breakthrough.
"There would be mandates for everyone and you wouldn't fight. They have a mandate that's why they fight. It's hard to keep activists united and division is normal. People who are divided doesn't mean they don't have ideals. There should be unity, they should act as one. If we talk about ideals, the ideal cannot move forward without breaking the system ," he told 'Real Story'.
