Even though we are in mid-September, the weather continues to maintain its summer character, according to meteorologist Lajda Porja. She announced that this week will be mostly stable, with high temperatures and clear weather in most parts of the country.
"The summer atmosphere is still continuing even though we are in mid-September. The week is expected to be stable, but from Wednesday we will have clouds and light rainfall, only in the northern part of the country. Sunny days will return at the weekend," said Porja.
According to her, air temperatures were 4-5 degrees higher than the seasonal average.
"Today, the thermometer will reach 23°C, while tomorrow it is expected to rise to 33°C. On Wednesday we will have a slight drop to 30°C, but from Thursday and Friday the temperatures will increase again, peaking at the weekend with values up to 35°C - typical for the summer season," she said.
For all those planning to visit the coast, the meteorology assured that it will be a very ideal time for vacation.
As for the region, most of the Balkans will also remain under the influence of clear weather.
"In Montenegro and Kosovo, there will be little precipitation in the middle of the week, but then an improvement is expected. Kosovo will reach 32°C over the weekend, while North Macedonia will have temperatures up to 24°C," Porja stressed.
