Clashes between police and protesters in some areas....
The police have decided to intervene to unblock road traffic. Since 17:00, the opposition has blocked 5 key points, while after about an hour the police forces started to act.
In "Palace with Arrows" and "Wilson" square, law enforcement forces are clashing with militants. The police are trying to move the protesters in order to free the traffic.
At one point, the police also clashed with MP Erisa Xixho and Democrat Enno Bozdo.
Meanwhile, the head of the parliamentary group Gazment Bardhi accused the police of trying to hinder the opposition. He called on the police to desist from such a new scene.
According to him, the citizens are protesting peacefully and the police are inciting tensions. In the meantime, it is learned that some protesters have been escorted to the police station.
" Protest is a constitutional right. It is not denied either by Enver Hoxha's grandson or by the soldier in charge of the police. Attempts are being made to violate the citizens by violating the right to protest. Every time there are calls for 'Rama ik', there is aggression towards the citizens. You see that no protestors are committing violent acts ", said Bardhi.
There were also strong clashes on Elbasani Street, where MP Flamur Noka clashed with the officers. He even tried to attack the chief of police station No. 1, causing him to be pushed several times with the protesters. Noka is heard addressing him with the words "criminal".
