Interior Minister Taulant Balla has reacted again after the tragedy in Shkodër, where the mother and her children drowned in the Buna river. Balla appeals again, for every woman to denounce any form of violence.
Balla said that the full investigation of the circumstances of the event should be carried out to the end. He found the opportunity to call on every woman to denounce any form of violence.
"Unfortunately, our suspicions about the serious and very sad event in Shkodër were confirmed when the bodies of the mother and children were found. Now a full investigation of the circumstances, causes and culpability of this serious event must be carried out. The court of Shkodra has considered legal the arrest of the husband by the State Police, which has strong suspicions that domestic violence, psychological pressure have pushed the victim towards this tragic act. I take the opportunity to call on every woman to denounce any form of violence.
Although they have done their duty, I want to thank the pigeons of RENEA and the National Public Security Force for their commitment. I have just thanked my colleague Danilo Šaranović, the Minister of the Interior of Montenegro, for the effective engagement of their police forces during the search.
