Other details have been learned about the arrest of the head of the Prosecutor's Office of Vlora, Aurel Zarka.
The Chief Prosecutor of Vlora in cooperation with Astrit Vladi, the lawyer Radovan Çela and the former officer of the Judicial Police, Eriona Dautaj, have exerted illegal influence in a case under investigation.
The matter in question is related to the "Toyota Yaris" file, an investigation taken over by the former Serious Crimes Prosecutor's Office.
The investigation took place in 2018 after an amount of 3.4 million euros in cash was seized in two "Toyota Yaris" vehicles that had arrived from Belgium at the port of Durrës.
The investigation of the Prosecutor's Office for Serious Crimes led to the arrest of several people. Edi Lika, Klevi Lika, Agim Ceka and Alban Mollaymeri were later released, while Ervis Vladi was held responsible and sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison for "non-declaration of income at the border".
Ervis Vladi turns out to be a relative of Astri Vladi, one of those arrested by order of SPAK today.
