According to SPAK, Jorgo Goro in two different episodes committed actions in violation of the law
The Special Prosecutor's Office issued an official announcement regarding the arrest of Jorgo Goros. GJKKO left another person in prison and ordered house arrest for 3 officials.
According to SPAK, Jorgo Goro in two different episodes has committed actions in violation of the law, which constitute regular non-fulfilment of duty, bringing with it the criminal consequence in terms of the provision for which it is being investigated.
The Special Prosecutor's Office announces that Goro, in the capacity of the mayor, in cooperation with the other citizen under investigation, JB, without making any concrete verification according to legal obligations, forwarded to the competent bodies completely falsified documents, making it possible to register an area of 5512 m2 of agricultural land owned by the state, in favor of the private entity.
This area of land located in Dhërmi, Vlorë, after being registered in the public registers thanks to the illegal actions of the responsible persons (other citizens under investigation BA and V.GJ.) has been alienated in favor of a private entity, stripping the state of its ownership on it. This alienation was accompanied by unfair material gain for the other citizen under SM investigation
SPAK announces that Goro is also accused of another case, where in cooperation with the other citizen under investigation JB, he has carried out with concrete actions the actual displacement on the ground of an area of agricultural land of 5080 m2, overlapping it with another property owned by the state .
" The Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime has registered criminal proceedings No. 189, of 2023, for the criminal offenses "Abuse of duty", carried out in collaboration, provided for by articles 248 and 25 of the Criminal Code, "Forgery of documents ", more than once, provided by Article 186/2 of the Criminal Code, and "Forgery of seals, stamps or forms", more than once, provided by Article 190/2 of the Criminal Code.
After conducting investigative actions, at the request of the Special Prosecutor's Office, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime with decision No. 31, dated 23.03.2024, decided:
1. The appointment of a coercive measure of personal security "Prison arrest", provided for by Article 238 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, for the person under investigation JG, with the office of Mayor of the Himarë Municipality, as a suspect for committing the criminal offense "Employment of duty", carried out in collaboration, provided by article 248 and 25 of the Criminal Code, carried out 2 times.
2. The assignment of the coercive measure of personal security "House arrest", provided by article 237 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, for the person under investigation JB, with the position of Director of the Department of Land Protection and Management, Himar Municipality (at the time of the event), as a suspect for committing the criminal offense "Abuse of duty", committed in cooperation, provided by article 248 and 25 of the Criminal Code, committed 2 times.
3. The assignment of the coercive measure of personal security "House arrest", provided for by Article 237 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, for the person under investigation BA, acting Director of ASHK, Vlora Local Directorate (at the time of the event), as a suspect for committing the criminal offense "Abuse of duty", carried out in cooperation, provided by article 248 and 25 of the Criminal Code.
4. The appointment of the coercive measure of personal security "House arrest", provided for by Article 237 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, for the person under investigation V.GJ., with the duty of Lawyer at the ASHK Local Directorate Vlorë (at the time of event), as suspected of committing the criminal offense "Abuse of duty", carried out in collaboration, provided by article 248 and 25 of the Criminal Code.
5. The assignment of the coercive measure of personal security "Prison arrest", provided by Article 238 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, for the person under SM investigation, as a suspect for committing the criminal offense "Forgery of documents", more than once, provided by article 186/2 of the Criminal Code and "Forgery of seals, stamps, or forms", more than once, provided by article 190/2 of the Criminal Code." - announces SPAK.
