The acting mayor of Himara Jorgo Goro has been arrested by order of SPAK.
It is reported that 4 other people ended up in handcuffs.
The news was announced by the head of the DP Parliamentary Group Gazment Bardhi. He describes Goro's arrest as good news that should be accompanied by other arrests.

We remind you that Jorgo Goro is the acting mayor of this municipality, as Fredi Beleri is in prison after being arrested on charges of buying and selling votes in the May 14 elections.
Two criminal charges have been filed against Goro, one of which by Fredi Beleri, the elected mayor of Himara, who is in prison.
Beleri refers to the audit of KLSH in the municipality of Himara for the years 2019-2021 where, according to him, violations of laws were found in public tendering procedures, non-collection of revenues, non-fair reflection of revenues and debits in the municipality's budget and in the granting of building permits in violation of the law.
Recently, his visits to SPAK have been frequent. Jorgo Goro appeared today at the Special Prosecutor's Office where he was interrogated. Meanwhile, 1 week ago, the acting mayor of Himara was interrogated for 3 hours by SPAK.
We remind you that the lawsuit that Fredi Beleri filed against Jorgo Goro, former minister Xhaçka and her husband for illegal land use was clarified earlier.
Therefore Jorgo Goros has two findings, the main one is that of the official report of the High State Control which has evidenced some doubts regarding the violation of equality in tenders but also with certain investments in the city of Himara, during the time where Goro held the post and the third term of the mayor of Himara.
