The director of the "Pashko" liberal institute, Ervis Iljazaj, commented on the Now show on Euronews Albania about the new Ministry created by Prime Minister Edi Rama, the one for Public Administration and Anticorruption.
Iljazaj said that from the research he had done, no EU country had this ministry.
" I did a search in the government cabinets of European countries and did not find any anti-corruption ministry. I knew before that there is no logic, it does not exist in any country in the world, there is an anti-corruption directorate, there are courts, there is SPAK, that the government itself does not fight corruption. In a democracy, the powers are separated, the government is subject to investigation for corruption, now they will investigate themselves? This is not efficient, there are other powers that control it, I don't know if there are in the USA, in Britain, in Italy. In my opinion, he does it for political communication, it seems paradoxical, but in the next elections, Rama's battle horse, I am convinced, will be the fight against corruption , "said Iljazaj.
