Prime Minister Edi Rama has responded to the report that the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani made weeks ago in KLP where he emphasized the decrease in the number of denunciations of corruption cases by state institutions.

Rama said that the executive power cannot investigate corruption internally, but it can narrow the spaces for committing this criminal offense in institutions.

While he emphasized that the reduction in the number of denunciations is good news in terms of the impact that SPAK's activity has given in terms of preventing corruption cases.

"I heard the leader of SPAK in his report before the KLP when he said that the denunciations of corruption in state institutions have decreased. I said that the basic mission of the executive power cannot be the internal investigation of corruption, but the design and implementation of systemic measures that narrow the spaces for corruption through mechanisms that are not subjective, reducing the power of the individual to influence the processes. I believe that one of the reasons for the decrease in denunciations is actually the preventive impact that SPAK's activity has begun to give, and this is very good news," said Rama.
