1500 Albanians in the United Arab Emirates/ MEPJ: The situation is calm, everyone should be careful
The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has reacted after the Iranian attacks on the territory of the United Arab Emirates, announcing that the situation currently appears calm and there are no reports of injured Albanian citizens.
According to the official announcement, Albanian authorities are in contact with the relevant structures on the ground, while Albanian citizens in the Emirates have been asked to exercise caution and follow the instructions of local authorities.
The Ministry also informs that the airspace of the United Arab Emirates has been temporarily closed, as a security measure following recent developments.
The Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Abu Dhabi is fully available to Albanian citizens for any needs or additional information.
Landslide/ The road to Gjinari also splits
A landslide has damaged the Gjinari road, in the Municipality of Elbasan, creating a risk for vehicle traffic in one of the country's most popular tourist areas.
The movement of the terrain has affected the asphalt layer in this segment, where cracks and visible deformations have appeared. The axis serves as a connection for several villages in the Gjinari area and is crossed every day by transport vehicles. Its damage makes movement difficult and increases the risk for drivers and passengers.
Gjinari maintains the status of a tourist village in the Municipality of Elbasan. However, infrastructural problems continue in almost all road segments leading to it. The Municipality has made investments in the center of the village, but the connecting axes remain problematic.
Residents are demanding the stabilization of the terrain and the complete rehabilitation of the road to ensure safety and avoid consequences for the tourist development of the area, especially on the eve of the spring and summer season, when the number of visitors to Gjinari increases.
Pitbull dog against the residents of Rrjoll/ Erzen Breçani, mercenary who protects Bashkim Ulaj
In addition to State Police employees, oligarch Bashkim Ulaj has also engaged the BREÇANI ROSP security company of the former head of Tirana Police, Erzen Breçani, against the residents of Rrjoll, from whom Ulaj has robbed and forcibly occupied their legal properties confirmed by court decisions, in order to build a private resort. Mercenaries of Erzen Breçani, arrested as a criminal group and who has laundered 50 million euros in public tenders, have attacked the residents of Rrjoll in recent days, who are defending their properties, inherited from generation to generation, by the occupier Bashkim Ulaj.
In the next clash between the police and residents for the Bashkim Ulaj resort, a group of Erzen Breçani's mercenaries also appeared, who attacked the residents of Rrjoll, also engaging pit bull dogs. Meanwhile, these images show one of the private security employees employed by Ulaj, recruited by Erzen Breçani, who punched a young man who was protesting to protect his land.
Changes in the Government, Rama meets Begaj
Prime Minister Edi Rama will meet with President Bajram Begaj today, a few days after announcing changes to the Government Cabinet.
The meeting between the Prime Minister and the President will be held at the Brigades Palace, the same place where Rama announced the changes to the Government a few days ago, during a meeting of the Socialist Parliamentary Group.
At the meeting, Rama is expected to submit the changes to the Government to the President and then it will be the Head of State who will decree the new ministers.
The changes in the government cabinet occur only 5 months from the moment the Government was formed, after Rama took office for his 4th term as Prime Minister.
