The segment presents cracks and deformations, residents require immediate intervention
A landslide has damaged the Gjinari road, in the Municipality of Elbasan, creating a risk for vehicle traffic in one of the country's most popular tourist areas.
The movement of the terrain has affected the asphalt layer in this segment, where cracks and visible deformations have appeared. The axis serves as a connection for several villages in the Gjinari area and is crossed every day by transport vehicles. Its damage makes movement difficult and increases the risk for drivers and passengers.
Gjinari maintains the status of a tourist village in the Municipality of Elbasan. However, infrastructural problems continue in almost all road segments leading to it. The Municipality has made investments in the center of the village, but the connecting axes remain problematic.
Residents are demanding the stabilization of the terrain and the complete rehabilitation of the road to ensure safety and avoid consequences for the tourist development of the area, especially on the eve of the spring and summer season, when the number of visitors to Gjinari increases.
