A controlled explosion will be carried out today at around 11:30, near the Llogara tunnel, as part of the construction works for the segment of connecting roads in this area.
According to the official announcement from the ARRSH, the explosion will be carried out about 1 kilometer from the tunnel exit, in the direction of Palasa, with the use of a small amount of explosives, in order to open the road route. Authorities indicate that the process is planned in such a way as not to impede traffic.
Meanwhile, citizens and drivers are asked for their understanding until the works are fully completed.
"Following the construction works for the road segment of the Llogara connecting roads, today at 11:30, about 1km from the exit of the Llogara tunnel, in the direction of Palasa, a controlled explosion with small amounts of explosives is planned to be carried out, in order to open the road route, without obstructing traffic.
The works have been coordinated with the State Police, with the aim of managing and guaranteeing the safety of vehicle traffic during this process.
"We ask for the understanding of citizens and drivers until the full completion of this work process," the ARA announcement states.
