Rama also spoke about renewable energy, stating that Albania aims to sell green energy to Europe through a project worth over 1 billion euros with the United Arab Emirates and Italy.
In local politics, Sali Berisha announced a complaint to SPAK regarding the “Dorana Park” project, accusing the government and Prime Minister Rama of favoring the minority and mismanagement. Natural events hit the areas of Lezha, where floods caused major damage to agricultural lands, while farmers are protesting for compensation. In Këlcyrë, a 30-year-old woman was raped by her family after a divorce dispute, leading to criminal proceedings against four people.
Crime and security are also in the spotlight with the escape of Altin Ndoc from Durrës Hospital, causing dismissals and transfers to high-security prisons. Meanwhile in Venezuela, authorities seized 6,850 kg of drugs, including cases linked to the Albanian mafia.
