We invite you to follow the Informative Edition with the main developments up to this hour of the day, where among other things we highlight:

The political scene continues to remain tense, with parallel developments in the government, the opposition and the justice system. Prime Minister Edi Rama has given interviews to Italian and Greek media, where he has addressed bilateral relations, the Himara issue and historical topics that have caused reactions in Greece. In the opposition camp, Sali Berisha has intensified his rhetoric against the former head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, accusing him of connections and conflict of interest, in the context of the ongoing clash with the judiciary.

Within the Socialist Party, the leaders have gathered the parliamentary group to analyze the performance of the deputies, in an internal political evaluation process. Meanwhile, in the political background comes an international survey platform that raises the question of Rama's political future until the end of 2026, reflecting uncertainty and speculation about future developments.

In the field of justice and security, SPAK continues its activity with international investigations, including letters rogatory to the US, while extensive operations against organized crime are being conducted in Albania and abroad. Albanian police in cooperation with British authorities have intensified actions against criminal networks and illegal migration, while several operations have led to arrests for drug trafficking, document forgery and money laundering through sophisticated schemes.

In Kosovo, the political crisis remains open, as LDK and VV have not reached an agreement on electing the president, with the constitutional deadline approaching.

In the international arena, attention has focused on the US-Iran negotiations. US President Donald Trump has stated that an agreement could be signed very soon, even "as soon as tonight", while a high-ranking US delegation has left for Pakistan for talks. The situation is considered delicate, at a time when the region and Western allies are following with concern developments that could affect the global security balance.
