Journalist Artan Hoxha calls the AKSHI "the parallel government of Albania," arguing that the public has never understood the real weight of this institution in controlling the state's strategic systems and influencing national security.
According to him, through financial power and influence in the media, AKSH built an untouchable image, while behind the scenes it operated as an instrument for political, economic and media control.
Hoxha went further, describing the AKSHI as the "most industrial form" used by the government to steal Albanian taxes and build an unprecedented symbiosis between the state and the criminal world.
"Unfortunately, our public has never understood what AKSHI was. What, what did AKSHI have in its hands? What damage did AKSHI do to them? It has not been able to understand. With all that heavy machinery that the propaganda power has, it has misled the public and made it seem as if the things that happened at AKSHI were the most normal things possible. Meanwhile, there was the parallel government of Albania. And AKSHI above all, above all, it was an institution that has direct dealings with national security. This has been clearly overlooked.
Because, how did the government do this? By controlling the media. And above all, when you mentioned ANA during these times, I remember watching those moderators get nervous, I know, saying the name first, because ANA... The marketing that ANA did in the media and the amounts that it distributed was really scary, so ANA was something untouchable. And this made ANA inconceivable for the citizens. Because we didn't explain it to them. And then came the question that you ask today.
AKSHI, how should I say, we would pass it off as what Dumani says, a crime with an intellectual. Yes, it is not a crime with an intellectual. They have it in the indictment as a structured group, but in fact they should have it as a criminal organization, which is a higher level. As for these criminal organizations, only I am on that indictment, as if I am more important than all of them. AKSHI is the way, how should I say I am the proven champion of the way this government operates. So, it has used an institution such as AKSHI, with the idea that we have an innovative institution, we are a greater achievement of the government, propaganda that has been made in the international media.
And in fact, AKSHI itself is that famous meadow that we saw there in Xhafzotaj, where the meadow was there, and there are those acts of kidnapping businessmen there, they took them there from Greceni, they did a tour. Then there are those offices there at Blloku, and the office there from Eco Resort, from where the Petrelë administrative unit is. It is that cellar of wines that we were only seeing like a video, then it disappeared from us, they took it all night. And in itself, it never remembered that wine. Yes, because those labels rightly connected what Ben Ahmetaj said.
And I trust Ben Ahmetaj because I know that he is a good connoisseur of wines. That's why I believed him, when he said that it was exactly this type of wine, Yes. It was specific, specific. Specifically. Then it means that he would not have heard it. He had been and we believed him because he was a person from inside the system, so he was not a person who was speaking from the outside. So, in general, AKSHI for me and those who are involved in AKSHI, especially the one who has been identified as the crime coordinator. People are not clear about what the crime coordinator means. Premature and with consequences to be honest that this last coordinator and we underestimated him, he seemed very educated as well as a person because the other two coordinators before him had a different stature.
This one seemed to be a bit softer. Then we saw its true dimensions when we saw the videos there, as much as we have seen, imagine if all the videos were released there that you would see the prosecutors, the judges, we would move to another level, these reforms. So, AKSHI is for me, today, the most industrial form that this government has used to steal Albanians' taxes, to influence and completely sabotage the system and especially the media.
"And on the other hand, AKSHI has also been used to create a symbiosis like no other field with the underworld and organized crime," said Hoxha, invited to the show "KAFE SHQETO".
