One of the moments that attracted the most attention was the reaction of the Norwegian Army. The armed forces released a video that quickly spread on social media, in which groups of soldiers from different branches performed the so-called "Viking salute." Sitting in formation, as if they were on a Viking ship, they simulated the movement of rowing with imaginary oars.
In Oslo, the festive atmosphere swept the entire city. According to reports, around 100,000 people gathered in the center of the Norwegian capital, filling the main boulevards and squares to celebrate the national team's success.

The victory was decided in the second half of the match, thanks to two goals from Erling Haaland, who was the main protagonist of the match.
The celebrations reached the Royal Palace, where Crown Prince Haakon came out to greet the crowd and join in the festive atmosphere.
