The counting of preferential votes continues, here's how the candidates rank

The counting of preferential votes continues in Tirana. Former Minister Olta Xhaçka has surpassed her colleague, Blerina Gjylameti, by 59 votes.

According to the results so far, Xhaçka has received 5914 votes, while Gjylameti collected 5855 votes.

In the Democratic Party, Jorida Tabaku won the mandate, beating Ilir Alimehmet with a margin of 2,300 votes.

So far, 15,488 out of 43,157 diaspora votes for the Tirana district have been counted, including preferential votes for the candidates.
