But only 3 days after the flood and still before the city was cleaned, instead of the Municipality of Vlora and the Government urgently rehabilitating the sewerage network, they allocated 530 thousand Euros for the construction of a special water supply plant, at the airport of Bexhet Pacolli and the son-in-law of Erdogan.
On October 7, 2024, the Water and Sewerage Company of Vlora, which is 51% owned by the government and 41% owned by the Municipality of Vlora, announced that the tender with a contract value of 530 thousand Euros for the construction of the water supply for the Airport has been closed. of Vlora.
In the 35-year concession contract for the construction and private use of the Vlora airport, it is determined that the investments for the water and electricity supply network will be made by the concessionaire Bexhet Pacolli and Erdogan's son-in-law, who is hiding behind the Turkish company.
But their friend, Prime Minister Ei Rama, has ordered that the water and electricity supply network and plants be financed from the state budget, specifically from Water, OST and OSHEE of Vlora, through additional funds provided by the government.
On October 23, 2023, OSHEE, with 720,000 Euros from state funds, started the construction of the electrical network to Vlora Airport; while on July 18, 2024, the construction of the Electric Substation started just for Vlora airport, worth 4.2 million Euros from the state budget.
