Adem Boba, the father of 15-year-old EB; who was stabbed to death after a fight between teenagers a few days ago in Durrës, said that his son had no conflict.
In his testimony given to News24, he indicated that the boy had no connection, as he only accompanied his friends after they told him to send them by car to clarify with several other people.
Also, Adem Boba said an elderly woman was an eyewitness.
"I'll tell you as much as I know. The boy was on his way to work when some friends came up to him and said, send us a little bit because we have a conversation to clarify with some others. He didn't even know those guys. And that's where the conflict started. Where my son was most damaged. He had nothing to do with the incident, but he took them there. He sent them to clarify and he went to his own work. It came as a surprise to me. There was no conflict. I found out from one of the boy's friends after the incident happened. The boy is in very serious condition. He intervened to separate them but he got stabbed. A woman, as far as I've heard eyewitnesses, may know more. There could have been 6-7 guys there, including both sides. While the parents said it happened in the heat of the moment. But I want the boy to get well and the rest of the things can be clarified later. I had also made an agreement that if the boy survived, to forgive them…But now things are changing because I myself am not sure what will happen, but I will give it time…But I expect the law to work, I want what the Constitution of Albania provides…We went for a better life…I lived in a rented house. While the years I was in Bulqiza I worked in a mine”, he said.
