Former prosecutor Eugen Beci has spoken about the macabre murder that happened in Kosovo of Liridona Ademaj.
In an interview for "Open" in Neës24, he stated that from the first moment he learned about the event from the Kosovo media, he understood that something was wrong and that we were not dealing with a robbery. According to him, this is because generally robbers do not use weapons, even less on women.
"The law enforcement bodies in Kosovo have shown themselves to be very professional. From a legal point of view it is a domestic murder, we need to discuss domestic murders. The way the scenario is set up, the alibi, is very weak. The person who is the main suspect has tried to set up an alibi. Statements of family members can be taken with reservations, their statements in the media. Statements have no value. To date through elements of the actions at the scene, the motive is part of the investigation that could take several months. The motive is at the discretion of the three people involved. When I heard the news, I became convinced that it is not a robbery, because robbers never risk using weapons, but only in extreme cases. "The only male at the scene was unresponsive and walked away and then to find the woman dead, there's something wrong here," he said.
Furthermore, from his experience as a prosecutor, he also showed three typologies of perpetrators who commit murder in the family.
" It should be noted that murders in the family have three typologies of perpetrators, those who repent immediately and commit suicide, the second repent but do not have the courage to kill themselves but surrender and the third case being victimized. The latter usually helps the authorities to detect domestic murders. There have been cases where murders in the family are tried to be disguised as accidental murders or poisonings..." , said Beci.
