The murder of Pëllumb Meta in Durrës was discovered about 13 days later, which makes it difficult for the expertise of the police or forensic medicine.
But the fact that the strongest evidence of the murder, namely the body of the deceased, was found in the backyard gave the police the opportunity to reconstruct the course of the serious event. During these days, even the children's testimonies have been different and contradictory.
Elma Miftari, clinical neuropsychologist, said on the GoodMorning Albanians show on Euronews Albania that the fact that the children have not shown any sign of remorse even 13 days after such a serious crime shows that they are covering up the real reason for the murder.
According to her, the mother should be analyzed more since the formation of the children's personality is mostly related to her.
"It must be understood what thoughts the mother conveyed to the children regarding their father, the traumas are very complex. I believe that the three children together with the mother have the answer to what happened. Even the mother is well aware of what brought about this resemblance. The fact that they show no sign of remorse even 13 days after the crime is then a well thought out version being presented to hide the real reason," she said.
