Former MP Lefter Maliqi said that he is 99% sure that the weapon with which Sokol Mjacaj killed Arben Lleshi in the high security prison in Peqin did not come through a drone.
He said that there are many possibilities that we are dealing with an organized and paid murder, because according to him, in this prison "it is difficult for a fly to move".
Maliqi also said that he was surprised by the silence and calmness of Minister Manja regarding this very serious case.
“I said from the beginning that over 99% I rule out the drone case. How is it possible that 41 bis was imposed on this person and on the day it was made public, this event happened. This is a well paid event. Prison officers are the most unpaid, far from the centers, they have 12-18 hours of work, they say I'd rather spend 5 years in prison than leave the children without bread. I am surprised by another fact, the moral responsibility for more. For me, responsibility is a chain. I did two interviews with the former minister of justice for the prison sector.
The prison sector, I have said, is a gold mine, there are prison directors and police in prison, because most of the hired killers are inside a part outside and politics is poorly connected with them. I am surprised by the calmness of Minister Manja when he speaks. How does this man not bear a responsibility, at least for this why he announced 41 bis", said former MP Maliqi in "Euronews".
