Former police chief Faik Basha said that the computer fraudster who is extorting businessmen is an ordinary person who has no professional knowledge of systems. According to him, he had knowledge of how this fraud works, where by imitating phone numbers he managed to get money from different businessmen.
"He is an ordinary person who has a lot of information in this regard. He is neither an IT engineer nor a person who has professional knowledge of these systems. He had knowledge of this type of fraud before, as the same method has been around since 2008. At that time, several businessmen fell prey, because at that time it was very difficult to understand. People didn't have enough knowledge about these frauds and they fell prey", said Faik Basha.
Florian Gjergji is the person wanted by the police because of successive fraud schemes, where senior officials and businessmen have fallen prey to these schemes.
Faik Basha said that he is thought to be in Germany, but it has not yet been possible to locate him.
"It is believed that he is in Germany and from there he did the frauds. It is difficult to locate him, since he does not have any company. Of course, he left traces, because he is using registered equipment, and therefore the police are heavy on the traces, saying that he is the organizer" , said the former head of the police for "Euronews Albania".
