The mayor of Lushnje, Eriselda Sefa, has given details about the flames that engulfed the Trade Center in this city the day before.
In a statement to the media, Sefa said that there are currently no citizens in the hospital, as they have gone to their relatives after receiving medical help.
As far as accommodation is concerned, Sefa said that they have prepared the dormitory of the mechanical school and in case it will be necessary, houses will be rented that will be paid for by the municipality. According to her, after the expertise, an assessment of the damage will be made and all families will be compensated according to the law.
"All the families that have been evacuated and after receiving health care have gone to their relatives.
The municipality staff is contacting every family that will need accommodation. We cooked the dormitory of the mechanical school. If necessary, we will rent a house that will be paid for by the municipality
There are about 91 apartments, but 20 are residents and the others are immigrants. After the expertise is finished, the municipality has the legal obligation to make an assessment of the apartments and then make the compensation according to the law", said the mayor.
