After the Municipality of Tirana, Edi Rama appoints as Secretary General of Finance an official with five criminal records, involved in the Sterilization PPP and massive procurement schemes.
Prime Minister Edi Rama has returned Gentian Këri to the government, appointing him Secretary General of the Ministry of Finance, after a six-month period as Deputy Mayor of Tirana. Këri comes to this post with a long history of key roles in public procurement and investments, from the Municipality of Tirana to the Albanian Development Fund and the Public Procurement Commission. He is the subject of several criminal files for favoritism in tenders, violations of state assets and falsification of documents, including the PPP-Sterilization affair in collaboration with Ilir Beqaj. The appointment to the Ministry of Finance places him in a key position over public funds, raising serious questions about the real reasons for this return and about the standards of institutional accountability.
After leaving the post of Deputy Mayor of Tirana for six months, Prime Minister Edi Rama has brought back the scoundrel Gentian Këri to the government, in the position of Secretary General of the Ministry of Finance, bringing to Minister Petrit Malaj a courageous "master" for dealing with funds.
The powers of the Secretary General are known, but Gentian Këri, being Edi Rama's favorite, is also expected to enter into the powers of Minister Petrit Malaj to close "difficult deals".
Just as Gentian Këri acted as Ilir Meta's "master" of the bargains, when he was Secretary General at the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Secretary General at the Ministry of Economy, Deputy Director of the Albanian Development Fund and Chairman of the Public Procurement Commission.
In fact, Gentian Këri started his "craft" of managing the markets as the head of tenders in the Municipality of Tirana, when it was headed by Edi Rama. For his "merits" as a document forger and signer of thefts, Babloku made him part of the government's dome, under his control and that of Ilir Meta.
Gentian Këri was so adept at theft, according to the bargains made by Edi Rama and Ilir Meta, that the government called him "the exhausted guild of leks." Therefore, after each criminal report, he was transferred only to institutions and public entities where he had more funds and opportunities to extort as much as possible.
With five criminal files for tenders, public assets and the PPP-Sterilization affair
– The criminal case still in process against Gentian Këri is the one for favoring private firms worth 2.4 billion lek, in only four tenders, when he was Chairman of the Public Procurement Commission, where the rights of appeals for tenders were assigned by Ilir Meta.
– The criminal case still in process against Gentian Këri is the one for corruption with tenders and road projects, when he was Deputy Director of the Albanian Development Fund.
– The criminal case still in process against Gentian Këri is the one for corruption with tenders, licenses, concession contracts, transport permits, investment projects and serious violations, when he was Secretary General at the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
– The criminal case still in process against Gentian Këri is the one for corruption with tenders, state assets, mining permits, oil wells, concession contracts and investment projects, when he was Secretary General at the Ministry of Economy.
– He is currently under investigation by SPAK, because when he was Chairman of the Public Procurement Commission, in collaboration with Ilir Beqje, he falsified the Sterilization concession documents to favor the predetermined company, with a financial value eight times higher than the real cost.
It is not known what stage of investigation these files are in, or whether some of them have been secretly closed.
In the years 2019–2025, despite having five criminal records, Gentian Këri was head of tenders and deputy director of the Albanian Development Fund, until August 1, 2025, when Babloku appointed him deputy mayor of Tirana.
Now, Edi Rama has appointed Gentian Këri as Secretary General of the Ministry of Finance, for the only "skill" he is known for: he knows how to finalize deals and make deals with public funds.
It is not difficult to understand for what services this nonsense of tenders, theft and falsification of official documents is transferred from one institution to another, while it is not even touched by SPAK for the PPP-Sterilization affair./ Pamphlet

TOM ARBANA! Sinqerisht po më dhimset ky djalë, që paska mbaruar me 10-ta dhe është katandisur me dosje në SPAK. E ka thënë Palloshi: është sistemi që i prish njerëit. Ky zotëria po shkon sekretar i përgjithshëm në Ministrinë e Financave për të prish ndonjë hallkë të sistemit që ka ngelur pa u kap? Në gjykimin e zyrtarëve nuk duhet të nisemi nga interesa private, se të ka bër ty një nder(xhaxhait) për pensionin. Por, të analizojmë se pse sistemi i pensioneve u katandis: duhet mik për të marë atë që të takon. Këtu fillon korrupsioni politik. Deputeta , kryetar bashkie, zyrtar të lartë, ndërhyjnë për pensione dhe pensionistët që kujtojnë se po ju bëhet ndonji nder, 'jua shpërblejnë mirëbërësve, me se? Me vota. Me pjesëmarrje në protesta, kur ka nevojë partia. Domosdo. "E kam mik filanin , më ka rregullu pensionin".

Gjithesesi,cfare doja te pasqyroja eshte deshira per te hedhur ca drite te ndershme mbi Gentianin dhe: Ca njerez te punes ,te afte,intiligjent,qe ndihmojne njerez te thjeshte edhe kur seshte detyra e tyre,sepse e kuptojne qe systemi nuk eshte perfekt,duhen perkrahur.
