There is no end to Fatmir Xhafaj's exploits. In addition to working under the carpet with the so-called anti-corruption commission, it seems that he is trying to throw ash in our eyes.
Xhafaj sells the commission as an initiative that will undermine constitutional institutions and fight corruption. And for this reason, he has taken behind him 81 external experts, who will assist in this project. A few days ago, it was announced that these experts will receive nearly 500,000 euros from the budget. But in addition, a new element has come to light.
All this time, Xhafaj said that there would be foreign experts who would assist. We all thought of specialists brought by foreign embassies, in order to keep this commission on track, as there are rumors that its aim is to undo the Reform in Justice. But in fact it is not like that. It was Fatmir Xhafaj himself who approached 23 "foreign" experts. The reason we are putting it in quotes is that they are actually Albanians.

What makes them "foreign" is the fact that some have studied abroad, some live abroad, and most of them work in different countries. Someone should tell Fatmir that this does not make them strangers. You can call them from the diaspora, but there is no way that names like: Helga Luku, Sabire Lici, Ermal Frashëri, etc., are foreign.
If you do a search on the Internet, each of them is a professional in certain fields and they are really bright minds, but Xhafaj does not have to sell us as a foreign expert.
The reason for such a thing is that tomorrow when the result of this commission is criticized, Xhafaj will say that it was also supported by international experts. But in fact, from the entire list of 81 names, no one is foreign, all are Albanians.
This commission is viewed with great skepticism. The opposition has abandoned it, while the internationals have made it clear that it should not be used to affect the Justice Reform. However, SP's plan is for the work to continue until after the elections, with the hope that they will have secured 84 mandates in the Assembly and then do whatever they want with the laws.
