Erdogan's followers in Tirana slip into anti-Semitism

And what will be done with the mosque? Will it be handed over to the Albanian believers? This is actually the big puzzle!

The electoral campaign in Turkey has not been harsh only there. But this tension seems to have moved to the countries of the Balkans, where for years there have already been structures set up and maintained by Ankara, to feed the so-called "neo-Ottomanism".

This campaign has also had its impact in Albania, where people who are financed directly by Turkey through NGOs and foundations, are the most ardent defenders of the Sultan of Ankara on TV shows.

However, this is a phenomenon already known for years here, as it is known that even the ruling party in the country has been trained by Erdogan's party structures to achieve capillary penetration in the electorate.

Erdoğan's AKP is already a formidable electoral machine connected to the territory, which was also seen in the first round of the presidential elections. Where, although in a difficult situation and with a government already over 20 years old, it was possible to mobilize the people who are the stationary electorates of the Turkish conservative wing. A machine that brought 2 million people to Istanbul, in a rally of gigantic proportions.

This tension that seems to have brought about an advancement of Erdogan, when everyone saw him lost in these elections, has increased a lot in Albania.

Well-known structures in support of Erdogan's policies in Tirana, especially within the community of Muslim believers, have been strongly reactivated. This reactivation has had high tensions, which, as always, are addressed by those who the Erdoganists call Gülenists. According to them, they are keeping control of the Albanian Muslim Community and its structures.

And this is reflected in two issues that seem very worrying for the health of society in the country.

These supporters of Erdogan have attacked the KMSH for the management of madrassas, i.e. schools administered by the Muslim community, where in addition to teaching according to the curriculum of the Ministry of Education, religious theology is also taught there.

People attached as opponents of the KMSH, have accused these leaders because, according to them, they have allowed the graduating girls of the madrassas to appear in the official police photo without a headscarf.

And these Erdoğanists give examples that according to them, in the madrasahs managed by the Gülenists, the graduates appeared at graduation without a headscarf, while in the madrasahs that are not managed by the Gülenists, the girls wear headscarves.

In fact, all religious schools are under the management of the Albanian Muslim Community. who entrusted non-profit organizations or different foundations with the financing and care of these schools. So both the girls who wear headscarves and those without headscarves are part of the management of the KMSH.

Regardless of the tastes of the parties that are dismissed as radical, the existence of a non-radical Islam, that is, which allows madrasah girls not to wear headscarves, because they think so, is neither a sin nor an innovation. As such was the situation even in the first years after the fall of communism. In all girls' schools from Turkish colleges and madrasahs, this non-Arab tradition has been built where the veil has been the standard. Since these schools operated according to the laws of a secular country like Albania, and of course the traditions of Turkish educational institutions, where before the arrival of Erdogan, veiling was not widespread. Even in Arab countries such as Egypt, Jordan, as well as the countries of the Maghreb, the use of the veil, which was added after the integralist wave of the era after the Persian Gulf wars, has not been decisive.

Meanwhile, apart from these provocations of Erdoğanist fanatics, one of the great hostages of this political relationship is the great mosque of Tirana. Funded by Turkey, which has also given it the Ottoman architectural spirit precisely by relying on the money it has given. Although it has been more than 10 years since construction began, it has not yet been inaugurated. The chances are that this will not happen yet, since as Erdogan said in the Albanian Parliament, he will do this when the Gülenists are removed from KMSH. This, as is known, has been banned by the US, which considers the Erdoganist attack an absurd aggression.

And what will be done with the mosque?

Will it be handed over to the Albanian believers? This is actually the big puzzle!/ Pamphlet
