An absurd and unprecedented situation has occurred in the city of Vlora, where a Socialist Party MP has invited her colleague from the Democratic Party to attack the mayor and the government. The SP MP, Briseida Çakërri, is sitting next to the DP MP, Ina Zhupa.
The meeting was announced as an activity with students at the library of "Ismail Qemali" University, with the participation of the Tourism, Culture and Diaspora Committee. This activity was also published on the official website of the MP and up to this point everything seemed normal.
Then, several people connected to the relative of MP Çakërri arrive in the same room, introduced as managers of watercraft companies, mixed with tour boat managers. At first, the boat managers raised their concerns, but the real purpose of the meeting turned out to be support for the close associate of Çakërri's cousin, Olsen Sherifaj, who, together with him, after illegally occupying Triporti and taking over one of the bays of Karaburun, is seeking to establish a large anchorage for watercraft in the middle of the beach.
The MP did not find support for her cousin among her colleagues in the majority, who recognize the personal interest and danger posed by placing watercraft in the middle of the beach. For this reason, she turned to the opposition, attacking her own people.
This is the video that clearly shows that it is precisely the deputy who, closely linked to the interests of her relative, asks those present to raise their issues with the Democratic Party deputy, thereby "killing two birds with one stone": on the one hand, she helps her cousin and his associate to take over the anchorage station in the middle of the beach, while on the other hand, she attacks the mayor, for whom she also has ambitions in the upcoming elections.
How does the issue of occupation by "Çakërrajt" stand?
Aljon Çakërri, i cili mban pozicionin e drejtuesit të Qendrës së Peshkut në Triport, prej dy vitesh ka zaptuar pikën hyrëse dhe dalëse të portit të peshkimit me një skemë të mirëfilltë. Ai jo vetëm që e ka kthyer këtë hapësirë në mënyrë antiligjore në parkim për mjete ujore, duke penguar edhe punën e peshkatarëve, por ka marrë edhe pagesa në formën e gjobave për hyrjen dhe daljen e mjeteve ujore, pa asnjë leje.

Tentativa për të zaptuar koncesionet

This situation has brought a strong public reaction. The Tourism Association, Lungomare businesses and tour operators have opposed this plan due to the high risk of incidents that could occur from the presence of watercraft near the beach, recalling the tragic case of Jonada Avdiaj, who lost her life two years ago near a corridor in the middle of the beach.
The tourist operators themselves, in their public appeal, state that the public beaches from Plazhi i Vjetër to near the tunnel should be preserved and that there is currently sufficient capacity for the development of marine tourism in other areas.
According to them, if such a permit is granted due to political connections, then, in the event of an incident near the beach, there will be criminal and civil liability. Any signatory of such a decision will be considered an accomplice in the crime. /Pamphlet
