The fabricated “plague” of livestock; Rama’s dirty bargain
Edi Rama /

At the height of the tourist season, the government blocks local meat with a suspicious disease alert, opening the way for a monopoly import market with meat frozen for up to 15 years from Brazil, Serbia, Mongolia and Thailand. Farmers, the next victims in the government's scum scheme.

"Pamfleti" has denounced several times, with facts and documents, that Prime Minister Edi Rama is deeply involved in bargaining with meat importers, supporting their monopoly through well-organized schemes that directly hit farmers and the domestic market.

Babloku's latest bargain with the four companies that control meat imports into Albania consists of inventing a dangerous "epidemic" in small livestock, to stop the circulation and consumption of local meat during the summer, precisely when demand in the market and restaurants increases to a maximum.

It is no coincidence that the “rinderpest”, as it was called, was officially declared by the National Veterinary Authority and the AKU only a week after the start of the tourist season. The immediate blockade of the trade in goats and lambs was accompanied by media panic, the main conductors of which were the “independent experts” paid by the oligarchs of imported meat.

For Albanian farmers, this is a golden period when they earn a living by selling their livestock to restaurants and guesthouses, especially in coastal tourist areas. But this year, the government rushed the controllers with a total lockdown order, paralyzing an entire sector that is sustained only by the sweat of the livestock farmers.

Meanwhile, with false security papers and manipulated documentation, meat importers bring in tons of frozen products from more than a decade from Brazil, Mongolia, Serbia, India and Bulgaria, many of which have been caught in the past with salmonella, or are unfit for consumption.

And while the AKU and the Veterinary Authority appear as saviors of public health, in reality they are servants of a corrupt plan to hand the Albanian meat market over to importing monopolies, linked to the political dome of the Renaissance.

In a scandalous announcement, the Ministry of Agriculture declared that the "Plague" disease will last until the end of September, precisely when the tourist season ends and small farmers no longer have market opportunities.

So, everything is calculated: farmers are out of the game, importers are in the scheme, money is distributed to high offices, and the public is fed dubious meat from 15-year-old refrigerators.

In a normal country, this would be considered an economic crime and sabotage of the national market. In Rama's Albania, it is only a "market strategy" that passes through Babloku's orders and the criminal silence of the institutions./ Pamphlet
