Several files from the 'Toyota Yaris' file, a case being investigated by Altin Dumani and Klodian Braho, show how Serious Crimes Prosecutors, OPGJ, judges, lawyers and MPs were recruited and corrupted by organized crime figures, to escape justice, extradition and to sabotage the requests of partner authorities to carry out investigative actions against them. Most of those implicated are not being targeted by Altin Dumani because some of them know a lot and the consequences can be unpredictable.
There is also a great interest that the chief prosecutor in the former Serious Crimes Prosecutor's Office, Erjona Daupaj, known as the "Nikita" of the Prosecutor's Office, is never caught, as if arrested, she could speak out, shaking up the system.
This file also highlights the so-called Farruku Clan, one of the largest cocaine traffickers in Italy and Spain. It turns out that the Farruku Clan did not only recruit former SP MP Jurgis Çyrbja, who exposed police operations, reporting to the clan leader, Kreshnik Farruku.
Not trusting the Albanian police, Spanish and Italian agents have closely monitored in Durrës the movements and meetings of the two Farruku brothers, who since 2021 have been wanted by Italian justice for the criminal offenses of "Criminal organization" and "Drug trafficking", while in Spain they were being investigated for ordering 2 tons of cocaine in Ecuador, which was to be imported into Spain. It is not known whether the foreign agents have collaborated with the Albanian Intelligence Service.
What has been found?
The surveillance report states that the Farruku brothers had also recruited the Minister of the Interior, Bledi Çuçi. The latter, when he was Minister of the Interior, turns out to be one of the direct physical contacts of the older brother, respectively the head of the Farruku clan. During the time when he was Minister of the Interior, Bledi Çuçi was photographed while he was suspected of reporting to Farruku, perhaps also about the letters from the Italian authorities requesting his arrest.
Bledi Çuçi was unexpectedly dismissed by Edi Rama as Minister of Interior in July 2018. It is not known whether Rama was alerted to Çuçi's involvement in Farruku's criminal clan. However, the former minister's connection to the criminal group is confirmed by evidence and facts. Also, during the time when Çuçi was Minister of Interior, the Farruku group operated safely in Durrës.
But where has the information about Bledi Çuçi ended up today?
Has SPAK hidden evidence for Bledi Çuçi as it has hidden for some of its own prosecutors and judges of the GJKKO? We recall that former Minister Çuçi is also listed for other connections with organized crime. Some members of criminal groups boast of photos at lunches and dinners with Çuçi. Former Minister Çuçi is officially a partner with some drug traffickers in the yacht and boat association "Albanian Sailing Club Sh.pk" with the address "Kepi i Rodonit", with Roland Ziu, Eral Myftarjan, etc.
Who is Kreshnik Farruku alias Kreshnik Budlla?
Kreshnik Farruku (Budlla) has used 10 names to escape justice, while in May 2010, he was arrested along with 7 other gang members in Barcelona for cocaine trafficking.
In 2014, Kreshnik Farruku escaped from prison and was arrested in 2019 while wanted in Spain and Italy for cocaine trafficking and burglaries of several apartments.
Meanwhile, in 2015, Kreshnik Farruku (Budlla) was assassinated in the "Don Bosko" area of Tirana. He was in the company of his brother-in-law, Rinald Budlla, and two friends, when he was shot, while a passerby was injured.
According to Spanish media, Kreshnik Budlla was suspected of killing his boss in Spain in 2010, due to drug dealing, but it later emerged that the assassination was ordered by Devi Kasmi, who was killed in an assassination attempt in January 2018 in Tirana.
By decision of the Special Court, in December last year, Kreshnik Budlla (Farruku), together with his brother, Erneo Farruku, had 27 assets confiscated, more specifically several properties in Tirana and Durrës, apartments in luxury buildings, vehicles of the brands “Mercedes Benz” and “Smart”, as well as the businesses “Eco Energy System” and “Rrotull-Beton”.
