27,365 people have lost their lives in Gaza since the start of the war between Israel and Hamas.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announces that 66,630 people have been injured as a result of the war. In the last 24 hours alone, 127 people lost their lives and 178 others were injured.
The Ministry of Health announces that it is not known how many of the victims are civilians and how many are Hamas fighters. Meanwhile, yesterday's attack was denied by Israel.
The UN Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced that people are dying before the eyes of the world in the catastrophe that is being experienced in the Gaza Strip where Israel has forced the population by leaving them hungry and without water.
In a post on the X social network, UNRWA said that the hunger and humanitarian crisis is deepening every day in the Gaza Strip.
"An unprecedented catastrophe is happening before our eyes in Gaza. Every hour that passes is becoming more hopeless in Gaza under the blockade. People are dying in front of the eyes of the world," the post reads.
In a statement made two days ago by UNRWA it was said that "The dire humanitarian needs of more than 2 million people in Gaza are at risk of further deepening, following the decision of 16 donor countries to cut financial support to UNRWA ".
The commissioner general of UNRWA, Philippe Lazzarini, warned that in case of continuing the interruption of financial support for the institution, they will most likely be forced to stop their work after the end of this month not only in Gaza but in the entire region.
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs says 2.2 million people are at risk of starvation in the Gaza Strip, which is under intense Israeli attack.
In the attacks that Israel has carried out on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023 until now, including at least 12,000 children and 8,190 women, 27,238 Palestinians have been killed and 66,452 others have been injured.
There are still thousands of dead under the ruins, while the civil infrastructure is also being destroyed, targeting the hospitals and educational institutions where the population is sheltered.
