Abazovic part of the government again? Invited for a meeting by Milojko Spajič

The Montenegrin Prime Minister and URA leader Dritan Abazovic has announced today that he has received an invitation to a meeting from the mandated for the creation of the government, Milojko Spajic.

Abazovic told reporters, after the meeting with the representatives of the American-Central European Business Association, that he supports the formation of a new government if this is a composition that can bring about the necessary changes in Montenegro.

"Of course we need a new government and in this context I have no objection. We will see how the setup will be and who will be in it. We received an invitation from Spajic, we will see if we can meet. As for us, we are of the opinion that dialogue should never be avoided. This does not mean that we can agree on something ," Abazovic said, reports Vijesti.

He said that important socio-political topics should be discussed with all actors, but added that it should be seen how much can be achieved as a goal.

Asked if he would refuse to participate in the government, he said that (he and Spajic) have different opinions about the principles and actions of the next government.

"I have only seen what has been publicly commented, I have not had the opportunity to speak publicly with Spajic. If there is going to be a meeting, we will devote ourselves to it and not to distributions in the ministries. We will see if we can find each other in what is the vision of Montenegro ", said Abazovic.

Abazovic said he is ready to lead a public debate with all political subjects and in the state parliament.

Asked what state of the state treasury he will leave to the next prime minister, he answered that according to the estimates of the International Monetary Fund, Montenegro should have the highest economic growth in Europe.

" I am leaving intact the 100 million euros that we collected just for fiscal stability, then 100 million euros on top of those that were earned plus the effects of the tourist season, for which Monstat and the Central Bank have not yet provided final data," said Abazovic .
